As you all already know, AdSense has recently announced on its official blog about providing Google AdSense support on English, Hindi, and Bangla content websites. However, not all AdSense topics are still compatible with English, Hindi, and Bangla sites, so many people cannot succeed by applying for AdSense from English, Hindi, and Bangla sites.
However, we hope that Google AdSense will be approved on the English, Hindi, and Bangla websites very soon. That is why before applying for AdSense from the Bangla website created in exchange for your long work, you must make the website suitable for AdSense.
The topic I am discussing today is very simple but a very important topic for AdSense publishers. Many people cannot increase their income from their AdSense account because they do not know clearly about this simple issue.
What are Google AdSense CPC, Page RPM, and Page CTR?
Google basically pays for advertising AdSense publishers by calculating CPC and RPM. In that case, the higher the CPC and RPM rate of the website, the higher the income of his website. Those who are wandering in their heads with these three simple issues, they will be clear if they read today's post carefully.
The main and only way to increase revenue from Google AdSense is to increase blog traffic. The more visitors to the blog, the more he will be able to earn from AdSense.
Before discussing the main topic of the post, let me say that the main topic of today's post is not to increase CPC and RPM, just to get basic ideas about Google AdSense CPC, Page RPM, and Page CTR. Next day I will share a post about increasing CPC and RPM.
What to Click:
In the case of Google AdSense, click only means ad clicks. In this case, it does not indicate how many pages of your website have been clicked on.
What is Impression?
This refers to every page view of your blog. Moreover, your blog's page view also points to an individual ad view, including an ad view. There are three types of impressions: Page views, Page impressions, and Ad impressions.
What are Page Views?
Page views indicate how many ads the visitor has seen through your desired blog page. Suppose there are a total of 3 ads on a page of your blog, but the visitor did not see all the ads on that page, that is, because an ad was at the bottom, it did not rise above the browser. In that case, your page views will be counted as 2.
What is Page Impression?
Page views and page impressions are the same thing. The two mean almost the same thing.
What is the Click-through Rate (CTR)?
CTR is used to indicate how many times the ad has been clicked on the total views of a blog or website's ad. For example, suppose different pages of your blog have been viewed 100 times and only 10 visitors have clicked on Add. In this case, your CTR will be 10%. If your blog's page view is 100 and 50 times the ad is clicked, then your CTR will stand at 50%. This CTR only calculates the number of clicks of the total number of visitors to your ad.
What is CPC (Cost per Click)?
There is no need to say much about Cost per Click. Because you understand what it means. Because of the click on your ad, AdSense is explaining how much money you will pay. In this case, the higher the rate, the higher his income will be. Suppose your CPC rate is 0.03 dollars, in that case, you will get $ 0.03 per ad click.
What is RPM (Revenue per Mile)?
It calculates how much money will be paid per 1000 page views only, without clicking on a blog ad. Suppose - your blog's advertising RPM is 1.25 dollars, in this case, Google will pay $ 1.25 for every 1000 views of your blog's ads.
Total calculation of CTR, CPC, and RPM:
Earlier, you got a clear idea from the above three things, how Google AdSense calculates how to pay for advertising and how your AdSense income decreases and increases. Now I will try to give a clear idea about three things through examples.
Example-
Suppose your blog has one million page views per month and your blog's CTR is 3%. That is, out of every one hundred page views, only three people click on your blog's ad. In this case, your net CTR will be (total views x CTR ÷ 100) i.e. (100000x3÷100) = 3000 times. Out of one million page views of your blog, 3000 people clicked on the ad. As such, if your blog's CPC rate is 0.03 dollars, the total click rate will be (3000 x 0.3) = 90 dollars. That is, Google will pay you $ 90 due to 3000 ad clicks out of one million viewers.
On the other hand, if the RPM of your blog's ad is 1.25 $ then you calculate the total view (total views ÷ 1000 x 1.25) i.e. (100000 ÷ 1000 x 1.25) = 125 dollars. Without CTR, Google will pay you $ 125 more for ad views only. As it can be seen, if someone gets one million viewers with the above-qualified blog, then he will be able to earn 90 + 125 = $ 215 a month from Google AdSense.
Conclusion:
From the calculations given above and AdSense CPC, Page RPM, and Page CTR, you can understand why you are earning less from Google AdSense or someone else is earning more than you even after getting fewer visitors. The higher your blog's CPC, Page RPM, and Page CTR, the more you can earn from AdSense. Generally, CPC and RPM are less based on the quality of blog content, ranking king, and advertising location. In this case, if you can target ads from developed countries with good quality content, you can increase the income of the blog by increasing AdSense CPC and RPM.
